Salary: £36,000+

A global business is seeking to hire an experienced Assistant Accountant to work within one of its leading divisions.

Duties to include:

• Assisting the Finance Manager with the production of the monthly management accounts.
• Assisting to create annual budgets.
• Assisting with quarterly forecasting.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analysing the P&L and reporting on income and expenditure trends.
• Preparing accruals and prepayments.
• Assisting with various year end duties, including liaising with Auditors to answer queries.
• Regular reconciliation of various company bank accounts.
• Quarterly VAT returns.
• Assisting with a variety of projects and initiatives.

Candidate requirements:

• Experienced gained from within a similar role.
• Ideally part qualified or keen to pursue accountancy studies.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• First class communicator.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Results orientated.
