Assessor / Trainer – Lean Manufacturing (L2) / Supply Chain Warehousing (L2)
Telford, Shropshire – Covering the West Midlands and East Midlands

INTRO
We are recruiting on behalf of an up-and-coming / growing Training Provider organisation. As a company they support individuals to achieve their career goals and employers to develop their workforce through high-quality training.
This organisatrion is looking for an experienced Assessor / Trainer / Coach to join their friendly, and enthusiastic team… to support the assessment side of their provision.
Applicants must be qualified Apprenticeship Assessors who have experience of delivering the Lean Manufacturing L2 standard… plus be competent to deliver the L2 Supply Chain Warehousing standard (prior experience not essential). If you also deliver the L2 Supervisor / Team Leading standard, this would be a bonus!
ROLE OVERVIEW
Delivering the following Apprenticeship Standards:
- Lean Manufacturing Operative L2
- Supply Chain Warehouse Operative L2
- Functional Skills in English and Maths
- Team Leader or Supervisor L3 (if competent)
DUTIES:
- Work with a caseload of 40 learners, visiting learners monthly within their workplace to deliver apprenticeship training.
- Sign learners up onto their apprenticeship programme, including completing all sign-up paperwork with the learner and employer.
- Plan for teaching, learning and assessment.
- Use OneFile to encourage the learners to build a portfolio of evidence to achieve their supporting diploma and contribute towards their End Point Assessment.
- With the assistance of BKSB, support and provide tutoring to learners working towards their Functional Skills in English and Maths (Level 1 and Level 2).
- Carry out progress reviews with the learner and employer every 10 weeks.
- Liaise with employers on a regular basis and keep a record of these meetings.
- Monitor and report on learner progress.
- Attend and contribute to standardisation meetings.
- Promote Safeguarding, British Values, Equality and Diversity and Prevent
- Maintain an annual record of CPD.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Hold TAQA/A1/D32/33 or equivalent
- Level 2 qualification (GCSE A* – C, or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Relevant occupational experience
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners
- Full current driving licence and vehicle
- Clear DBS
HOURS
- Monday – Thursday: 8.15am – 4.45pm
- Friday: 8.15am – 12.45pm
- Total Weekly Hours: 36.5
