Assembly Worker

Our client are a large manufacturing firm who are looking for some semi skilled operatives to join the team.

Candidates must be able to use hand tools including screwdrivers, hammers and air tools.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.15pm and on a Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm. Some workers may be asked to work an afternoon shift: The afternoon shift is 14.40 – 23.05 Mon-Thurs and 13.40 – 20.00 on Friday.

You will be expected to work in a variety of departments including the despatch, warehouse, packing and assembly areas.

Candidates will receive training in a variety of areas and have to be flexible to work in all departments, but if you show you are capable and get taken on a permanent contract the money will go up.

The work is physical and fast paced so candidates need to be comfortable with this type of work.

For this role we are looking for candidates with the following:

– The last 3 years with checkable work history
– 2 references from previous employers
– previous experience within a production/manufacturing environment before.

You will need to have safety shoes and be available to start work straight away.

All candidates will need to come to our office in Eccles before the induction to register, if candidates do not come to register with us first they will not be considered for the role.
