Salary: £26,000 per year

Assembler / Fitter; Congleton, Cheshire; £ depending upon experience

A well-established and expanding manufacturer of Modular Shelters is looking to recruit an Assembly / Fitter to work daytime hours, on a permanent basis to join their workshop. The company manufactures an innovative range of quality assured systems, using high specification materials and the Assembler / Fitter will play an important role in this process.

This varied role will involve;

* Cutting, Drilling and Tapping steel in preparation for the company’s welding department

* Assembling framing panels including glazing them with glass or similar sheet materials

* Using a range of hand & power tools and measuring equipment

* Working to external quality standards and maintaining effective housekeeping

Applicants should have experience from a similar Assembly, Fabrication or Fitting role but full training will be provided. Those applying should be committed to a permanent role and have an ambitious, flexible character.
