Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year
This is an opportunity for a flexible and adaptable.NET Developer to be involved in the continued development of major websites related to climate/environmental risk transfers. These pull together existing resources of climate data and forecasts, climate risk pricing software and messaging. The websites transform the way that climate risk products are made available to the market.
They are looking for a full stack ASP.Net web developer to support and continue to develop strategically significant websites which build upon and expand our product offering.
Essential Skills and Experience
* A minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft ASP.NET, SQL Server & Microsoft Visual Studio.
* Ability to support and maintain existing systems that use a variety of.NET technologies.
* Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC Razor, HTML5, Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS, AJAX, Typescript, JavaScript, Web Services, IIS.
* Experience designing attractive UIs is required.
* Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and the Microsoft.NET Framework.
* Ability to analyse and implement components by applying best practices and coding standards.
* Experience building and consuming XML/JSON Web Services using RESTful APIs.
* Understanding of MS SQL/MySql database and SQL language.
* Capable of being a cross functional team member as well as having the ability to work independently.
* Ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
* Team Player.
* Excellent communication skills.
