Design Studio – Artworker Intern (3 Months Internship)

Signet Trading Ltd is the home of well known retail jewellery brands Ernest Jones, H.Samuel and Leslie Davis. We’re looking for creative and motivated interns who want to develop an understanding and practical experience in a fast paced in-house Design Studio.

Our internship programme will give you a unique insight into the world of retail and this opportunity will allow you to have an active role in a fast-paced marketing environment. You’ll be shadowing and assisting the dynamic and talented in-house Design Studio to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standard and within the tightest of deadlines. This role will be best suited to those who want to gain experience in an intense, but exciting, creative environment with numerous marketing departments that all interact with each other.

You’ll gain a flavour of various marketing processes, allowing you to understand how different teams operate and get an idea of where you might fit in going forward in your career.

This placement will allow you to work on POS, Direct Mail, Brand & Marketing Campaigns, Retouching, Email & Web Design and Interactive Media. This is an opportunity to learn what it takes to create cutting edge graphic design and multimedia suitable for the watch and jewellery retail industry.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, preferably jewellery and fashion, with very strong organisational and creative skills and be willing to take their own initiative on various projects. A can-do attitude, excellent communication skills and very strong PC skills (knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and After Effects) are beneficial.

Duration: 3 months, 5 days per week.

Unpaid Internship but travel expenses and lunch costs will be reimbursed

Location: Borehamwood, (WD6 1JN) Hertfordshire – 20 minutes’ train journey from St Pancras station.
