This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Ambitions Personnel who are acting as an employment agency. We are currently recruiting for an Artwork Co-ordinator based in Spalding. The main purpose of this role is to administer, collate and process supplied artwork received into Coveris Group Studio from retailers and retailer nominated repro houses across labels, board and film. It is also to provide support to Studio Manager in carrying out any other duties as agreed.
Main duties will include but are not restricted to:
• Liaising with external artwork / repro houses on a daily basis, where there are errors on files or files with missing parts.
• Liaising with Internal Coveris CSEs on daily basis via the Supplied artwork tracker in Chimera, informing of file arrivals etc.
• Resolve queries between all parties above to assist Studio Manager in smooth planning of the Studio workflow.
• Updating of relevant Supplied Artwork on the Chimera Supplied Artwork Tracker.
• Monitoring files over a certain period of time on the tracker above and send out periodic reminders to inform CSE, so the studio sets from the CSEs can put into Enterprise Way studio.
• Process supplied artwork in whatever medium by opening up ensuring that all components are complete, and converting the file ready for a System Operator to Repro the file.
• Suggest and support implementation of systems/procedures to help maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
• Communicate workflow progress and issues to Studio Manager.
• Ensure that your role is covered in event of sickness and holidays.
• Ensure through the appraisal process that you are always trained to carry out your role effectively.
• Support other studio administrators as and when required while maintaining self-discipline and a positive work ethic.
• Ensure that all systems / paperwork is completed and rigorously filled out or filed.
You must have the following skills:
• Know the studio processes and policies.
• Know who the internal/external customers are and what their expectations are and understand their processes in this area.
• Communicate effectively.
• Exhibit and use coaching skills.
• Adhere to the functions of the studios systems / processes as instructed.
• Behave in a professional manner.
