The Company: As the UK’s largest and most recognisable brand of paint accessories, varnishes, outdoor paints and adhesives, our client has established itself as Europe’s market leader. Coming into its 100th year of establishment, this highly dependable household name is embarking on a new marketing campaign and is looking to experience double digit growth in the next three years.

The Role: As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing the Yorkshire and North East of England patch. Selling directly into independent retailers, multiple retailers and large national groups, your objective will be to introduce new ranges, merchandise, measure competitor activity and conduct price surveys. You will be expected to maintain strong relationship internally and externally whilst providing detailed reports on territory progress.

The Person: The ideal candidate will have a background in FMCG, DIY or B2B field sales and must be well trained in territory planning. It is imperative that you are down to earth, hard working, well organised and highly ambitious to move up the ladder.
