Area Sales Manager – Metrology – Midlands

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

We have been approached by a growing company within the Measurement industry to assist them in their search for Sales Engineer to cover the Midlands region.

The Company:

They are a well known name within the Industrial Engineering / Lean Manufacturing sector providing a comprehensive range of measurement and inspection systems, instruments and related services to manufacturing companies throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Position:

The role of Sales Engineer is a technical sales position which requires strong problem solving skills, good general engineering knowledge and customer service skills.

Ideally you will be based in the Midlands we are looking for someone who really wants to make an impression, lots of accounts to manage but also a big push on new business and using your experience to bring new ideas to the team.

With regards to what we can offer not only is this a well respected business but also there is a fantastic team of very forward-thinking Engineers to support you technically and always working on new projects for you to introduce to customers.

This is also a position that offers a great progression plan. For the right person as time goes on this role will progress into a Management opportunity There is an existing internal and external team currently being lead by the MD so as you grow the sales region the plan for the right person would be to move into Sales Management role where you can take the lead of the entire sales department.

Ideally you will come from a Metrology, Measurement or Mechanical Engineering sales background.
