Position: Area Cleaning Manager (4 vacancies)
Contract: Permanent/ Full Time. Temporary roles also available.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Due to continued growth we are now have temporary and permanent positions for Area Manager to cover Essex and surrounding areas to join our business.

The appointed manager will be responsible for:
• Ensure all rotas are in place to cover the needs of the operation taking into account peak periods, holiday periods.
• Review of the specification on a regular basis alongside the site supervisor/manager and obtain evidence of the specification is being met
• Health and safety requirements are met according to the site manual.
• Agree action plans with site supervisor/manager to correct any poor audit scores
• Liaise with Human Resources / Payroll and Operations teams at head office to effectively support site supervisors/managers and maintain excellent customer service
• Control the hours budget for each site with the site supervisor/manager reviewing the spend each week
• Minimise spend on machinery by effectively managing the use of machinery on site as well as damages /repairs
• Ensure managers are submitting timesheets / holiday and sickness forms within the given timescales
• Identify any training needs for site managers and supervisors

The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
• Proven managerial experience within the cleaning industry is essential.
• Ability to influence and gain commitment is essential.
• Able to demonstrate customer focus is essential.
• High level of planning and organisational skills is essential.
• Ability to be flexible with working hours and able to assist with cleaning when cover is needed is essential.
• Ability to demonstrate strong personal integrity is desirable.
• Strong leadership style with a focus on supporting and developing employees desirable.
• Proven experience of managing people ideally across multiple sites is essential.
• Proven track record of dealing with customers is essential.
