40 hour week. Minimum wage appropriate to age. 27 days annual leave, health care option and defined benefit pension scheme.

The empty homes team which is part of HomeFix carries out work on our empty properties and provides an essential service to our tenants.

We would like to offer an enthusiastic and motivated person the opportunity to join us as an apprentice painter and decorator.

To be considered for this position you will need to:
-have a genuine interest in developing a career as a painter and decorator
-have a practical and “hands-on” approach to work
-be able to complete a 2 year apprenticeship scheme attending college one day per week
-be able to apply your learning whilst working as a member of the HomeFix team
-be reliable and committed to providing a high standard of work
-have good customer service skills
-be able to use your initiative
-be a team player

This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn, develop as a painter and decorator and apply your newly acquired skills throughout your training. You will work with other professionals and report directly to the team leader.
