Apprentice Drivers Mate

Job Purpose:

HSS Driver Apprentice will gain experience of the Hire Industry through spending focused time in Warehouse, and Transport. This will support the completion of the NVQ level 2 in Customer Service.

Please Note: To qualify for this apprenticeship you will need to be between the ages of 16-24 and not have already successfully achieved an apprenticeship in a similar field. Those who have achieved a bachelor’s degree and above are not eligible for this apprenticeship

Job Responsibilities:

• Spending time with an experienced Driver completing collections and deliveries to our customers.
• Keeping accurate paperwork & computer records in each role experience
• Gaining an understanding & knowledge of our Hire product range
• Pick products for customer deliveries and collections
• Maintain high house keeping standards in your given working area
• Gaining an understanding of our Transport processes whilst in the Drivers Apprentice role
• Experience under supervision loading, unloading ,delivering, collecting of our Hire equipment
• Experience HSS Products and services to customers face to face
• Demonstrate and deliver great Customer Service to both internal and external customers

Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Have a base understanding of computers and systems
• Have a base understanding of Customer service
• Have a base understanding of working as part of a team
