As a Security Officer reporting to one of our Security Managers, you’ll provide exceptional service to all passengers and other security users, working safely and efficiently to detect items and individuals which threaten infrastructure and passenger and aircraft safety. As a Security Officer, you’ll use your great customer service skills to give passengers a warm welcome and a great send-off. Working shifts to cover our 24/7/365 operation, you’ll join a multi-discipline team using screening technology and we’ll train you to ensure that our security and safety processes are followed at all times. Your principal responsibilities as a Security Officer are categorised around the four aspects of our security triangle:
• safety
• compliance
• service
• efficiency,
balancing the delivery of all four priorities, all the time.

You don’t need a security background to join us. It’s your passion for customer service and desire to work as one of a diverse team that’s more important. We’ll provide you with comprehensive security training to match your great people skills, ideally gained in a service industry, which enable you to connect with the wide variety of people who make up our airport community. Patient and able to remain calm under pressure, with a good eye for detail, you’re also an excellent all-round communicator, who’s inquisitive and creative.
