Agriculture Solicitor

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

Simple Recruitment are looking for an experienced Agriculture Solicitor for a permanent opportunity with our client in Wells.

The Job:

You will be providing a high-quality legal service to the firm’s clients on matters relating to agricultural law and will be contributing to the growth and development of the department and firm. This is an exciting opportunity to manage your own caseload and work within the glories of the open countryside. You will be working with fantastic people, who own and run farm and rural business in the South West. You will also progress cases efficiently to conclusion including attendance at mediations and attendance at court.

The Hours:

This is a hybrid working role, with the Agricultural team based in Wells Office, with a requirement for travel to any office in Wells, Sherborne, Frome or Bath and client sites, as required.

Full time: 37 ½ hour week 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

About You:

will have 5 years’ experience as an Agriculture Solicitor or possibly commercial. A focussed approach and excellent people skills are essential, as you will be dealing with people who have owned farms, which have been in the same families for multiple generations. A patient and empathetic approach is necessary and a willingness to don the green wellies and go on site is prerequisite.
