Afternoon Parcel Sorter

Temps Ltd are looking for experienced Afternoon Parcel Sorters for their client based in Chesterton, Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire.

Suitable candidates will have experience working in a fast paced environment lifting heavy goods.

Job role & responsibilities
– Will be loading and unloading vehicles
– Stacking parcels onto a conveyor belt
– Moving parcels into different racking locations as per stock label or barcode
– Use of scanners is advantageous.
– Sorting items by hand into compartments on a sorting frame

Applicants Must:
– Be able to lift and carry mailbags and boxes
– Be able to stand for long periods of time.
– Have a good grasp of the English Language both written and spoken
– Have previous experience in a similar position

Salary: £26,000Hourly
Working hours 3.30pm until 8.30pm (Monday – Friday)

Rate increasing up to £26,000 per year once 13 weeks completed. Ongoing work until Christmas. Ongoing work until Christmas.
