Aeb Skills Trainer

Salary: £32,400 – £42,000 per year

We are pleased to be able to have the opportunity to recruit an AEB Skills Trainer for one of our clients based in Swinton, Manchester.

They are looking for individuals who have previous experience of AEB delivery, both face to face and remote. The post will be based within the office. The successful candidate will be energised and excited about delivering to learners and enable them to move to the next stage in their careers. You will plan, organise and implement an appropriate learning program that guides and encourages learners to develop and fulfil their potential.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

– plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences

– develop schemes of work and lesson plans

– establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities

– provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities including online learning

– assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments

– provide timely feedback on work to learners

– encourage and monitor the progress of individual learners

– maintain accurate and complete records of learners’ progress and development in line with Ofsted and audit requirements

– prepare required reports for management

– manage learner behaviour in the classroom and apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary

– perform certain pastoral tasks

– participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and learner organisations

– participate and attend in team meetings

– keep up to date with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities

Education

Essential

– Level 3 Award in Education and Training

– Subject competence and certification for qualifications delivered

Desirable

– Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training

– Level 3 Emergency First Aid in the Workplace

– Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
