ADULTS SOCIAL WORK ASSISTANTS – VARIOUS TEAMS – LANCASHIRE

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for ADULTS SOCIAL WORK ASSISTANTS to work within the VARIOUS TEAMS based in LANCASHIRE to start ASAP.

We have opportunities in various locations around Lancashire including Preston, Lytham, Thornton and Leyland.

This is a great opportunity for Newly Qualified Social Workers to gain some valuable statutory experience in the Adults sector!

If you have completed a placement in a statutory Adults team or have worked for Lancashire County Council (LCC) before in a similar position then please get in touch as these roles are full time on 3-6 month rolling contracts with possibility to be extended even further!

Duties will include but are not limited to:
*To contribute to the delivery of personalised social care services as outlined in National Legislation and guidance and in line with county policies and procedures
*To promote the creative and flexible use of personal social care budgets to appropriately meet the needs of customers and carers
*To keep effective records in relation to the work undertaken using Social care electronic records.

Essential requirements for this role include:
*Qualified in or studying towards a Social Work Qualification
*Recent DBS
*Experience of working with Adults in a Statutory Social Work setting (this includes any placements done)
