Adults Safeguarding Social Worker Needed ASAP

Salary: £38.4 – £40.8 per hour

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced qualified Social Worker to take the next step in their professional career with a well established local authority. The role will involve joining a busy, fast paced team whose paramount objective is always an adults well-being and safety.

For this role you will need –

– Evidence of continued professional development
– Effective communication and engagement skills with adults and their families / carers / advocates
– Experience of effective partnership working and support improved working relationships with partner agencies
– Experience of undertaking an adult safeguarding enquiry under S42 of The Care Act 2014 and the promotion of Making Safeguarding Personal
– Experience of completing complex mental capacity assessments and best interest decisions
– Experience of working as part of a busy team
– Experience of working as part of a busy duty system
– Ability to provide reflective supervision to less experienced team members – Ability of prioritise workloads and competing work demands
– Ability to enthuse and empower others
– Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. The Care Act, The Mental Capacity Act, Data Protection etc. and rules governing confidentiality in relation to ICT

A driving licence and access to a car is desirable.
