Salary: £26,000 per yearannum + OTE £20000
Based in Coventry
Spring Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious University for a Higher Education Admissions Co-ordinator to become part of their friendly team.
As an Admission Co-ordinator key responsibilities will include:
* Receiving and checking application forms, ensuring the completeness of data and following up on any incomplete applications with the candidates.
* Assessing candidate’s academic qualifications and advising the student selection committee on the equivalency of international degrees.
* Making initial decisions on candidate’s suitability for their chosen programme in line with eligibility criteria
* Liaising with Programme Teams to arrange applicant interviews (in person, by telephone or via Skype).
* Developing efficient and customer focused admissions procedures.
* Upholding admissions policies consistently and fairly across all applications
* Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from prospective students, by email, telephone and in person.
* Updating CRM records throughout the admissions process.
* Advising applicants on all aspects of the admissions process, the suitability of their qualifications, and programme details.
As an Admission Co-ordinator you will:
* Be educated to Degree level or above
* Preferably attended University and understand the admissions process
* Good level of knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Management Information System or the ability to learn such specific systems
* A high level of accuracy is needed for the relevant data entry
* The post holder must be able to work under their own initiative
* At busy times the post holder must be able to prioritise their workload
