Salary: £23,210 Increasing to £26,132 following successful completion of a 6 months probation period

The Role:
We are currently looking for an Administrator to join our dedicated and compassionate Victims of Slavery Support Service on a permanent contract.
The scope of the role is to provide high quality administrative support to the Victims of Slavery Support Service (VSSS) Northern Ireland. The service provides recovery support to survivors of human trafficking and exploitation based in Northern Ireland. Our diverse client-base includes survivors from a wide array of nationalities and backgrounds.

The Candidate:
As the Victims of Slavery Support Service Administrator your duties would include:
- Responsible for the weekly administration of finance payments to clients, maintaining the finance payment system throughout the week and efficiently responding to client payment needs
- Ensure that all finance data recording systems are kept up to-date, accurate and consistent with quality standards
- Responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of Migrant Help internal Purchase Orders and invoices and liaising with the Finance department as and when required
- Responsible for administering and reconciling petty cash on a daily basis
- Attending team meetings and taking of minutes, ensuring that all information and action are correctly noted and shared with the team
- Work in close partnership with both other members of the team and other internal departments in a professional manner
- Maintain effective and up to date information filing and monitoring systems
- Collect and upload client feedback forms in order to further develop and improve the service
- Responsible for reception meet and greet and referral to the appropriate staff member
- Book rooms for face to face client work for the VSSS team as and when required
- Ensure adequate supplies of relevant stationery are available at all office sites and ensure that supply is ordered and delivery efficiently
- Assist with office/facilities issues as and when needed, liaising with relevant partners both internal and external
The experience and skills you need:
- Demonstrable experience in an administrative capacity, particularly with budgets, accounting, invoicing and other financial processes, including reconciliation
- Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, including well developed letter writing, minute-taking and form completion
- Ability to deal with deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Proven ability to prioritise and work on own initiative whilst respecting professional boundaries
What else to expect:
- The post is subject to an ACCESS NI check, as required in Northern Ireland when working with vulnerable adults
- The Victims of Slavery Support Service operate Monday to Friday. This post may require you to work outside of your contracted hours and therefore flexibility is required.
- This is a fixed location role, however there may be occasion where additional travel is required; therefore, flexibility is required to meet this need when it arises.
