Position Purpose:
The role is to act as the primary interface to a portfolio of customers, liaising and communicating supply plans, understanding the demand, ensuring a smooth uninterrupted service of right first time supply. Continually looking for ways to improve the relationship & service we offer the Markets by the process & procedures we follow. Able to work in a very challenging & demanding role with a vision that we can really improve the customers experience & help make the vision a reality, through demonstrating ideas with energy, loyalty and teamwork to achieve the organizations goals.
Organizational Relationships:
Regular 1-1s are used to monitor progress and development. Monthly team meetings are used to ensure that information from forums such as but not limited to: Management, I&C and S&OP is cascaded. Arrange regular calls with Markets to ensure the greatest understanding of their needs & requirements.
Primary Duties:
A high performer who proactively ensures that designated Markets supply is kept within their agreed min, max, target DOS, preventing any OOS occurrences where possible. Using SAP, APO & ISS, liaising & working closely with the supporting departments to enable continuous uninterrupted supply to Markets. Hold regular (time as defined with market) calls with each Market, recording the discussion on the identified template with correct & sufficient information. Noting all follow-ups and agreed completion dates.

Responsible for managing and accomplishing tasks for a number of designated Markets ensuring they are kept with min & market DOS & continually kept in stock.
Establish a good rapport to enable a relationship of mutual trust and respect to be built and maintained with designated markets.
The setting of challenging & SMART goals.
Work with & understand the planning tools to ensure continuous uninterrupted supply of stock, for VMI, MTO & MTS customers.
A positive outlook and able to show total team commitment as well as working as an individual, able to work to a common goal.
Ability to seek and share knowledge obtained to ensure the highest level of performance for not only self but team members.
Support & supply Markets with their sample requests in an agreed time frame.
To use SAP or ISS to process orders up to the agreed hand over point to the Transport Coordinator, working closely with TCs to ensure shipments are made in full on time, whilst ensuring the most cost effective mode of transport where possible.
Ensuring stock in unrestricted status is prepared & shipped within a given time frame taking into consideration the shelf life & version of the product to ensure stock is not unnecessarily written off.
Ensuring the Markets are kept updated of their supply plans for future supply.
Working in partnership with the planners to ensure that they are kept in the loop with any Market changes that will affect their supply plans.
Ensuring any Markets that are at risk of not shipping or have the potential to fall outside their agreed inventory parameters as committed to the customer are expedited using A Class as a tool to engineer this activity.
Build and maintain good strong relationships with quality, understanding release times & raising any SRNs required expediting the release of product to ensure goods are shipped as committed.
If trained as Train the Trainer, to undergo continuous training for the team to ensure all training requirements are kept up to date.
Day to day activities will be self planned and managed.
Assisting with the reporting data for identifying those Markets low in stock and OOS weekly.
Updating the tracker with all accurate and relevant information timely for MTO/MTS Markets.
Attending PDRs armed with all precise and up to date information.
Systems:
Manage relevant IT based systems, this includes but is not limited to:
Knowledge and ability to access, use and interpret data in SAP/APO/ISS Ability to build and further develop systems to further enhance team performance Competent in Micro soft packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share point etc.
Communication:
This includes but is not limited to:
Identifying and resolving roadblocks which may impact customer supply timelines.
Highlighting and escalating potential risks to the Lead.
Regular communication via e-mail, webex and telecons with all key internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Acting as the contact point for Markets responsible for; contributing to the development and continuous improvement of customers experience with Havant.
Responsible for contributing to the development and continuous improvement of CR processes, systems and procedures.
Thinking outside of the box; continually seeking ways to improve own performance.
Training & Education Required:
Educated to A level standard or equivalent GxP Training & Education Preferred:
Excellent presentation skills
Prior Experience Required:
Strong communication, negotiation & influencing skills are essential.
Working as an individual as well as a team in a very challenging & demanding role.
Experience in a role effectively managing and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Prior Experience Preferred:
Product Knowledge.
Manufacturing production knowledge.
Commercial awareness and understanding.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels; face to face, via various forms of tele communication.
Technical Competencies Required:
Function/Technical Skill SAP, APO, ISS
Knowledge of Supply Chain Within the field of manufacturing and packaging from customer request to final supply
