The HR Booth are delighted to be recruiting an Administration Officer on behalf of Spinal Injuries Scotland.
Main purpose of the Role
To be the main point of contact for calls coming into the office for Peer Support and Clober Farm enquiries and bookings. (assessable property). Carrying out day to day administration including updates for our social media. You would also oversee the work of the Administration Assistant. The role office is based in Cambuslang.
Key duties and Responsibilities
- Dealing with the general administration introducing new processes as required – mail, filing, phones, minute taking, monitoring emails etc.
- Be able to work proficiently with Word, Email, excel and other Microsoft packages.
- Taking payments using varied platforms
- Managing office calendars
- Dealing with donations & bookings for Clober Farm – thank you letters, gift aid applications etc
- Dealing with Incoming telephone enquiries for peer support or for Clober Farm
- Planning & Administration of Events
- Creating social media content with the team
- Dealing with Suppliers (order chasing, researching comparisons etc)
- Arrange compilation, printing & distribution of charity magazine
- Candidate will have knowledge of updating websites.
- Any other reasonable duties required in line with SIS’s objectives
- Complying with administrative requirements
- Collating invoices for approval
- Logging donation from all sites used by the charity
- Taking payments over the phone
- Be cost effective with resources
Personal Requirements:
- Minimum of two years relevant experience required
- Actively ensure own professional development and maintaining a training and development plan
- Be thorough and maintain accuracy at all times
- Be efficient and well organised and consistently meet deadlines
- Attend appropriate training, as required
- Lead by example whilst gaining respect and confidence of colleagues and service users
- Always ensure to work within the four values – professionalism, integrity, compassion and respect
- Must be able to drive and have access to a car.

Contract: Full time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 depending on experience
