We are currently recruiting for an Operations Administration Controller to work at our National Distribution Centre in Stourton, Leeds. The role of the Operations Administration Controller will be supervise and co-ordinate activities on a day-to-day basis within the Stourton NDC Operations Administration. Stocks & Despatch duties being the main focus area for this role.

Reporting to the Operations Admin Manager, you will supervise admin team members and delegate effectively, monitoring progress towards timely achievement of site and team objectives. The main duties to include:

Pro-active wastage investigation with all contributing departments and factors.
To work in close liaison with the transport, planning and commercial departments, to ensure that information is communicated accurately and in a timely manner.
Assisting with management of site information and ongoing maintenance to ensure all data correct so as not to cause operational impact
Co-ordination of training and development for new and existing members of staff, with particular emphasis on ensuring that personnel are able to step into the Controller’s role in his/her absence.
Communication responsibility for any head office or external stock/despatch queries.
Production of various management reports and attendance at relevant site meetings
Project work as requested.Candidates should have experience of working in a similar role within a fast paced warehouse environment with a proven ability to work to tight deadlines. Computer literacy is essential with strong skills in MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Experience of SAP would be advantageous.

Please note the hours of this role are 6pm-6am (nights) on a rotating 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including, weekends and bank holidays.
