Office Services roles (Long term opportunities available)

Roles available at theJohn Radcliffe Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Nuffield Orthopedic Centre and Churchill Hospital – all located in Headington, Oxford – and at the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

Band 3 – £9

We help our 62 NHS Trust clients implement tactical measures to improve workforce efficiency and productivity as part of an overall workforce strategy.

We are seeking highly motivated and committed Administrators with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills to join our bank.

We have a number of opportunities for Office Services roles in our Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust.

You will be working as part of an administration team, where typical duties include general office duties such as responding to emails and telephone enquiries, typing, maintaining records and organising meetings.

Qualification:GCSE English or equivalent

Skills:

  • Cancelling and re-booking clinics / appointments as delegated by Supervisor / Line Manager
  • Taking telephone messages, deal with them in a timely and efficient way and refer as appropriate
  • Amending and sending out letters
  • Ensuring appropriate care records and files are available to clinicians for each clinic session and for ad hoc requests
  • Accurately inputting confidential data using a variety of Trust IT systems in a timely way.
  • Booking interpreters and transport for patients as required
  • Providing flexible administrative and clerical cover as required to meet the needs of the services

In order to apply for a post you must have a minimum of 3 months experience of working in an office environment within the last 2 years. We will also consider graduates, who do not yet have any office administration experience,
