Job purpose
Our client is seeking a bright, switched-on candidate to come in and learn their business from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to develop your administration and customer service skills, and will be provided with specialist training related to the insurance industry. Once you’ve demonstrated your aptitude and have gained experience, there is likely to be progression into an insurance administrator and/or client advisory role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering the telephone
- Administrative support for the account executives and client advisers
- Producing and sending quotations
- Calling insurance providers to gain quotes
- Send out policy documents
- Updating database and setting diary reminders
- Handling the post for the office
- Photocopying and filing
Skills / Attributes / Experience
- Willing to pitch in with a range of office tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of an administrative role would be beneficial
- Ambitious and keen to learn
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (C grade or above)
