The Education Network regularly work in partnership with a non for profit charity who provide outdoor pursuits and team building opportunities for young adults aged 15-17 both in and outside of term time. The company’s main focus is to install confidence, teaching life skills and support young people from all backgrounds and cultures to build relationships, work as a team and live away from home for the first time.

As part of this role you will be taking part in activities ranging from Canoeing and rafting to rock climbing and zip wires to name but a few.

We are recruiting for eight Team Assistants to support the Leaders by being responsible for key teenagers working in small groups, encouraging them to learn new skills, participate, build confidence and grow throughout the experience. In addition you will be responsible for their safety and well being.

This role is over eight days with the first four days being spent at one of two residential activity centres. The coach will collect all students, leaders and support assistants from various locations across the Northamptonshire region. The remaining four days will be spent supporting the young adults in learning key life skills and will be classroom based at a college in Northamptonshire. The exact location is to be confirmed.

Food, transport and accommodation are all provided.

Dates: 4th December till the 11th December.

This role does not require any key qualifications although a current DBS or the willingness to undertake one with The Education Network is essential.
