Accounts Senior

The Company

My client, an established and thriving chartered accountancy practice based just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne is currently looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Senior to their team due to growth from a number of significant client wins throughout 2014.

The Role

As Accounts Senior will be responsible for the preparation of accounts for limited companies with turnovers ranging from £600k to £48m. You may be required to visit clients premises to assist with and complete bookkeeping requirements, prepare reports, prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and from time to time will become involved in a number of ad hoc projects.

You will be required to have excellent computer skills. To this end, it is essential that you have extensive use of Sage Line 50, Word and Excel. The role will expand as experience increases., additional responsibilities are likely to include increased involvement with clients and assignment of larger companies with the future opportunity to progress within the firm to management level

You

As Accounts Senior, you will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience. You will have at least three years experience working within an accountancy practice. You will have a confident manner and be a refined communicator with the ability to deal with clients and staff at all levels. You will be organised, thorough and diligent in your approach to work with the ability to prioritise tasks.

The Benefits

The Accounts Senior will be paid a salary dependent on experience and qualifications between £30,000 and £38,400 plus an excellent benefits package.
