Accounts Semi-Senior – Music Clients – Top 50 Firm

Our client are a Top 50 accountancy firm based in the West End with a strong focus on media & entertainment. They are extremely progressive, technically strong and offer a positive working environment. 

They are currently seeking Music and Entertainment Semi-Senior to join their team. The role will involve:
– Undertaking day to day bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of clients within the Media and Entertainment industry
– Assisting with handling of the portfolio`s financial and personal affairs, as per the client`s needs
– Assisting with the maintenance and review of accounting records raising issues to relevant Managers
– Assisting with raising sales invoices, considering the VAT position on international invoices
– Preparation of VAT returns and EC Sales Lists for manager review and client approval
– Liaising directly with clients and suppliers on basic queries in a timely and professional manner
– Assisting with management reporting and annual accounting compliance by preparing accounts and reports such as comparing actual to budget, wealth statements
– General administration as per the requirements of the portfolio

As the successful candidate you will have:
– AAT qualification and/or working towards ACCA/ACA qualification
– Experience working in a UK Practice
