Wild Berry Associates are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join an exciting, fast past FMCG start up based in Holborn, London.

As the Accounts Receivable Assistant you will be part of a small but highly dynamic and motivated Finance team.

The role is primarily responsible for daily credit control and raise sales invoice for B2C business in UK and other European countries. Also, assisting the accurate accounting and support other ad-hoc tasks with daily activities.

As accounting/finance staff you will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, assisting month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, tax returns and bank reconciliations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Raising invoices/credit notes
  • Chasing Customers / invoices for payment
  • Reconciling billing
  • Checking upcoming invoicing ensuring all information is correct prior to billing.
  • Checking and updating data in CRM and accounting system
  • Liaising with internal and clients with regards queries
  • Assisting with daily credit control allocation of payments
  • Ad hoc tasks as a member of a finance tea
  • Review aged debtors’ reports and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and correctly posted
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve client’s billing issues
  • Maintain accounts receivable files and records
  • Provide business information for customer-vendor forms
  • Continuous work to develop and improve internal processes

You will be required to:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
  • +2 years financial accounting experience – Prefer to have experience B2C sales invoicing and credit control
  • Advanced level Excel & in house accounting software user (Experience on NetSuite or SAP preferred)
  • Experience on Sales admin experience and AR
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude as a team player
  • Time management skills
  • Fluent English
