Accounts Payable Supervisor

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Finance team, based at our Ipswich waterfront offices.

This position is permanent and full time, 9:00am – 5:30pm. We are offering a Salary: £26,000.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounts Payable Supervisor will supervise and control all ‘purchase to pay’ processes for the Sanctuary Group.

Main duties and responsibilities:
* To supervise all processes and procedures for the purchase ledger across the group
* To prepare timely supplier payment, BACS, CHAPS runs
* Maintain all purchase ledgers including taking advantage of credit terms and cleansing old balances (with authorisation)
* Enter purchase ledgers invoices into accounting system(s) in accordance with agreed policy and procedure
* Recommended improvements to payable processes to bring increased control and improved accuracy and timeliness
* To carry out staff reviews in accordance with company policy

You will be a key part of a growing department and will have a hands-on approach, being able to work effectively both independently and as part of the team.

The successful applicant will have around 3 years experience of supervising accounts payable ledgers. Knowledge and experience of Sage Line 50 would be desirable.
