  • From £14,42 – £16.83 per hour (salary equivalent £30,000 – £35,000pa)

  • Hybrid role working 3 days a week on-site in Farnborough and 2 days WFH

We are looking for an Accounts Payable / Payroll Administrator to work for our client based in Farnborough. Our client has fantastic offices with excellent facilities and offers a friendly and supportive working environment in a really stable team where the average tenure of staff is 10+ years.

This position is full-time working something called a 9 day fortnight. This means you will work one week Monday – Friday and work 44 hours per week and the following week work Monday – Thursday with a 36 hour working week so every other Friday is an off Friday meaning you work 9 days in every fortnight.

3 days per week will be based at their amazing offices in Farnborough and 2 days working from home.

Main duties for the role will include:

  • Processing invoices for Limited Company Contractors and Suppliers
  • For Ltd Co. Contractors, you will check their invoices against the approved Timecard on the system
  • Raise and resolve queries within the Accounts Payable function
  • Respond to emails into the Accounts Payable inbox
  • Processing expenses
  • Run weekly payroll

The personal attributes are really important for this role and we are looking for someone who:

  • Has an excellent telephone manner and clear, friendly communication skills
  • This is a corporate environment so would suit someone with a similar background
  • Hard working, can-do positive attitude
  • Previous experience within an Accounts Payable role is preferred BUT if you have a strong administration background and interested in this role please do apply as you will be very much considered
  • Happy to commit to a temp to perm role – the idea is that the candidate will work on a temporary basis for between 3 to 6 months and if at the end of that period all parties are happy this will convert to a full-time permanent role
