Robert Walters are representing a Leicestershire based business who are looking to recruit for an Accounts Payable Manager.
The main roles and responsibilities;
* Supervise (team of 6) activities ensuring adherence to internal and external practices
* Maintain up to date knowledge of Local GAAP for all the countries served
* Complete month end reports/accounting and accruals in line with local GAAP
* Establish root cause and work with client or internal functions to resolve issues affecting supplier payments and deliveries
* Monitor and review the teams KPI’s. Ensuring the performance levels support the targets
* Coach and mentor each team member (providing effective and timely feedback)
The successful candidate will have the following;
* Part qualified or near qualified ACCA or CIMA
* 3 plus years of experience in Accounts payable preferably in multinational company
* SAP plus desirable familiarity with other AP software packages eg DLX.
* Good analytical skills
* Excellent Oral communication skills supported by good written skills
* Must be target driven, accountable, persistent and be a self starter
* Must have willingness/desire to develop Leadership and People Development skills
* Good all round computer skills
