An industry leading financial services organisation are looking to recruit for an Accounts Payable Manager based within Bracknell. The successful candidate will oversee the Accounts Payable team and ensure the smooth running of the companies outgoing payments, coding of invoices and ensuring correct posting within agreed timescales.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager are:

• Ensuring accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger

• Reviewing of invoice coding; ensuring that those costs are accurately allocated

• Insuring invoices are paid in a timely manner and are correctly authorised

• Preparing monthly control schedules and reconciliations for balance sheets

• To oversee the preparation, review and distribution of the management accounts

• To be a point of contact for auditors and any other professional advisers

• Taking responsibility in terms of the financial aspect and the impact system developments will have on the accounts.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Demonstrable experience within an Account Payables position

• Experience of using accounting packages

• Understanding of VAT, PAYE and corporation tax rules

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent desirable but not essential.
