Accounts Payable Controller

Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 per year

A fantastic opportunity to join a market leading International brand in an exciting industry. They are looking for an Accounts Payable Controller to join their finance team of 8 in a brand new role, highlighting their ambitions to grow. This role will be fully office based.

Accounts Payable Controller – About The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager as well as liaising with the Accounts Payable Supervisor, communication is key in this role. The successful candidate will be joining an established team where you would be responsible for ensuring the department is run efficiently. Your main roles & responsibilities will be (but not limited to):-

* Facilitate the running of the accounts payable side of the business as efficiently as possible

* Ensure all Supplier invoices are raised in a timely manner

* Supporting all staff with processing Purchase Orders within the SCM system

* Communicating with all areas of the business to ensure the smooth running of your department

* Assist with the month and year end procedures for Accounts Payable

* Assisting the AP Supervisor with payment runs for all 5 companies on a fortnightly basis

* Monitoring the internal controls within the Accounts Payable department to ensure proper allocation of costs

* Willing to travel to other offices and venues in order to upkeep communication in all areas of the business

The successful Accounts Payable Controller will have

* At least 2 years experience in a finance background, preferably within the Accounts Payable function

* Preferred knowledge of finance systems

* Excellent communication and time management skills

* Fully computer literate and a keen eye for detail
