A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of the most reputable retail companies in the UK and has an excellent reputation within the industry. The current turnover is £60m and they anticipate further growth. They are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their office based in Central London.
Key duties:
- Ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable department
- Processing of supplier invoices and expenses
- Matching, batching and coding up to 500 invoices per week
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting and reporting to the accounts payable manager
- Assist in evaluation and development of internal processes and procedure for AP
- Resolving supplier queries
- Creating and posting journals
- Analysis of costs for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, for all businesses
- Establishing good relationships with suppliers and internal parties
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
- Scanning of invoices and filing and general administration
- All other accounts duties as required
Key Requirements:
- A confident user of excel
- Used to working in a busy, high volume environment
- Must have strong Accounts Payable Experience
- Excellent attention to detail is required
- Must have experience in media
- Used to working in a busy, high volume environment
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Strong organizational skills
