Salary: £32,400 per year
Everyday Loans is a market leader within the financial services sector providing sub-prime loans in over 70 branches across the UK and currently has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Finance Team in Bourne End!
From our Head Office in Bourne End, the successful candidate will support in the processing and payment of business expenses across the Group. You will ensure accurate recording and payment of invoices. This role will involve dealing with a high volume of invoices and supplier reconciliations as well as liaising with the suppliers direct.
The Role
Key Responsibilities include:
* Receive, process and record invoices from suppliers
* Obtain receipts or other verification when accounts were paid
* Match and file invoices with their matching receipts
* Record and compare invoices received with estimates and/or forecasts
* Make sure invoices are approved in time to meet the established payment cycle
* Remit payments on invoices as directed by Accounts Payable management
* Work in accordance with the payment process outlined by the Accounts Payable manager
* Process payroll payment
* Deal with supplier statements and queries
* Support the wider Finance Team as required
Person Specification & Qualifications
* Experience in accounts payable
* Attention to detail
* Understanding of basic bookkeeping
* Knowledge of accounts payable principles
* Data entry skills
* Organisational skills
* Communication skills
* Proficiency with accounts payable software
