A well established and rapidly growing property company based in the heart of Birmingham are looking for an accounts payable clerk to join their large successful team on a temporary basis. You will be reporting to the accounts payable team leader and responsible for the every day purchase ledger duties as well as other ad-hoc duties. The company are looking for someone who is driven and enthusiastic. This will be a fast paced high pressure role; you will be expected to hit the ground running and maintain commendable standards.
Ideally, you will:
- Have the drive to be able to perform under pressure; you will also be expected to meet deadlines set by management, as well as an excellent eye for detail
- Have some experience in an accounts payable or a similar position
- Have a proactive approach to work and be able to use your initiative
- Be able to pick up systems and processes quickly and able to take direction
- Be qualified or studying towards your AAT
