Salary: £26,000 per year

Accounts Payable Administrator (GNFR)

£18K – £20K + Pension + Bonus + BUPA + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday

Role Purpose:

This role ensures that we maintain financial and administrative data to ensure effective; efficient and accurate reporting for a number of different operating companies.

Role Objectives:

Rotation of roles with a view that the team is multi-skilled and cross-trained in the following:

  • Management of a variety of E-Mail Boxes for other operating companies and incoming calls from Vendors
  • Clearing Direct Debit Payments to vendors
  • Administration of the company Purchase Card Process from setting up new card-holders; reviewing claims; posting costs; providing reporting and escalation as per the policy document
  • Manage the end to end process relating to consolidated invoices
  • Manage the end to end process relating to Pro-Forma Invoices
  • Producing Key Performance Indicator Reporting for all Operating Companies
  • Ownership of Control Accounts from ensuring that all open items are kept to a minimum and completion of Month End Reporting
  • Completion of Debit Balance Reporting
  • Completion of Prompt Payment Code Reporting in line with specific Operating Company requirements
  • Run weekly payment proposals for all Operating Companies
  • Process payroll and inter-company related invoices
  • Process employee expense claims and manage end to end process of uploading from Concur to SAP
  • Ensure that changes to Vendor Master-data are recorded accurately on a daily basis
  • Assist in cash-flow forecasting and cash-flow variance analysis
  • Manage the Purchase Order process for Building Rent Vendors
  • Assist in the Balance Sheet budgeting process

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Experienced user of SAP (Preferable)
  • Positive attitude and able to perform under pressure whilst working at pace
  • Have excellent Excel and Reporting Skills
  • Experience of working in a high volume transaction environment
  • Have a proactive; flexible and adaptable approach
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and not getting weighed down by the detail
  • Ability to self-manage ensuring that key deadlines are met through planning and prioritising workloads
  • Understands the financial consequences to the business when things don’t go right
  • Customer focused with good communication skills
  • Self-starter who will take ownership in all aspects of their role
  • AAT Studier or early Professional Accounting Qualification Preferred
