Accounts Junior / Trainee for Pq Aat – Top 60 Firm

Are you a part qualified AAT Accounts Junior or Accounts Trainee with a minimum of 12 months experience working for an accountancy practice firm, looking for your next challenge? Based in the growing business services department, you will be responsible for bookkeeping assignments, VAT returns, and starting to get involved with preparing both statutory accounts and management accounts. Training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a small yet friendly team, be supervised by experienced managers and work on an interesting portfolio of medium and large sized clients from interesting sectors such as media, entertainment, property, film & TV, retail and many others. To be considered for this interesting and varied new position you will likely be a part qualified AAT or have a few exams left to complete. This firm would also consider someone who has not started the AAT, as long as they have the right experience. You must have at least 12 months of work experience in an accountancy practice firm, and ideally have experience of the above duties, the most important being the bookkeeping and Vat work. You must be able to meet tight deadlines, have a sense of humour and be a team player. Experience of a range of software packages (particularly sageline 50) would be an advantage.
