Accounts Assistant – Sales Ledger – St Albans

A highly successful and well established organisation based in St Albans are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially aware Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Working within a team of four, you will be responsible for the following:
*Managing the organisation’s sales ledger
*Raising invoices (approximately 30 per week)
*Sending statements
*Credit control
*Allocating customer payments
*Managing petty cash reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
To be suitable for this Accounts Assistant position you will have previous experience in a similar role (perhaps as a Finance Administrator, Accounts Administrator, Sales Ledger Clerk or Finance Assistant) and will ideally have a strong working knowledge of Sage, Excel and MS Word. You will be ideally be fully or part AAT or ACCA qualified and will be keen to develop you career within an accounts based position.

The salary on offer for this Accounts Assistant role is up to £26,400 basic plus benefits including 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and a performance related bonus. Please note – the office hours for this position is 9am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
