This is an exciting opportunity for an accounts assistant to join our dynamic team based in Holborn.
Role Description: The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1 year experience working as an accounts assistant, preferably in an accounting practice (but not essential). They will have experience working in a professional environment and wish to pursue a career in accounts.
IT skills using Excel and Outlook are essential. Sage experience would be beneficial.
The role is hugely varied so an excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, literacy, numeracy and good logical and problem solving skills are a must as well being able to manage own workload, prioritise and have good time management skills. Due to the nature of our clients confidentiality is required at all times.
Job Description: Dealing with incoming post, filing and general administrative duties. Timely and accurate processing of purchase invoices/receipts either manually using Excel or Sage. Liaising with talent agencies and other organisations to ensure remittances are received and matched to the bank. Monitoring of client receivables, account balances and reconciling client bank accounts. Assisting with sending and receiving payments on behalf of clients. Maintaining client relaitonships and ensuring the clients needs are met at all times including pre-empting any potential issues and identifying areas which can be improved on. This role is one which is open to change and we are looking for someone to grow into the role and define as the company expands.
The office environment is young, dynamic and sociable based in Holborn. Hours are 9-6 with a salary upto £28k depending on experience.
