Salary: £27,600 – £33,600 per year

Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper – About the Role

A great opportunity for a full time or part time ideally AAT qualified individual (or QBE) to join an established practice with a friendly environment. You will provide accounts services to a varied client base, assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts from records provided by the client.

As the Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper:

You will already have a good level of practical experienced gained in public practice, with excellent bookkeeping skills as well as being proficient in VAT returns and statutory accounts.

The successful Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper will have:

AAT qualification (or almost qualified) or QBE, previous public practice work experience including:

• Bookkeeping
• VAT Returns
• Accounts preparation
• Knowledge of accounting packages Sage / Xero/ QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Excel / Word / Microsoft packages
• Knowledge of IRIS would be a benefit
• Excellent communication skills
