Our vision is to become one of the most loved and respected brands in Europe, and we are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant who will work closely together with the Finance Manager and be responsible for the day to day upkeep of the transactional financial records at Azimo.

- Based on Upper Street (between Highbury & Islington and Angel stations)

Role Overview
- Purchase ledger management
- Preparation of supplier/salaries payments
- Allocation and reconciliation of multi currency funds in and bank statements
- Conducting a monthly reconciliation of ledgers
- Maintaining the petty cash fund
- Issuing refunds
- Working capital management
- Processing timely repayments of employee’s expenses
- Maintaining an orderly accounting system
- Communication with suppliers
- Journal entries (PAYE, prepayments, accruals)
- Creation, formatting and development of various statements and reports in Excel
- Support in preparing monthly consolidated accounts, reports and forecasts
- Monitoring of operational funds / treasury management
- Active participation in ad-hoc projects
REQUIREMENTS
Skills & Experience required
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Accountancy qualification (such as AAT, or similar), or bookkeeping experience
- First hand knowledge of using Xero (or similar)
- Strong Excel skills
Skills & Experience preferred
- Experience gained in a financial services or e-commerce environment
