A multinational insurance corporation is seeking an Accounts Assistant for an initial 3 month period, with the possibility of extension.
The Accounts Assistant will be an integral part of the Finance Team to assist in achieving the team objectives on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring aged receivables and payables are settled and received.
- Monthly bank reconciliations for Global entities in multi-currencies.
- Daily cash flow preparation.
- Ownership of the AP expense review.
- Assisting with month end process.
- Prepare Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Assist with quarterly analytical review.
- Assist with preparation of Monthly Management Reporting.
- Assist with the Annual Budget Setting process.
- VAT returns.
- Ad-Hoc requests from Senior Management.
The successful candidate will be a part qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Assistant Accountant with relevant experience . Strong Excel skills will be essential for the position and knowledge of the SAP system would also be highly desirable. This is an interim role and candidates therefore are required to be available on a weeks’ notice period or less.
