Our client, a growing organisation in Maidenhead is now seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant to sit within their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to the Purchase Ledger Accountant in processing invoices and expense claims to meet month end deadlines. Also to provide holiday and sick cover for the function, which could also include preparing supplier payment runs.
  • To provide support to the Sales Ledger Accountant in creating invoices to customers to meet monthly deadlines. Also to provide holiday and sick cover for this function, which could also include recording customer payments received and sending weekly aged debt reports to the sales teams.
  • To provide support to the Management Accountant in completing month reporting tasks such as accruals and prepayments analysis and journal, timesheet analysis and fixed asset postings.
  • Assist in the preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in preparing analysis and support schedules for statutory year end audit.
  • Other ad hoc analysis that may be required for the finance or projects teams.

The successful applicant will be newly AAT qualified and looking to progress to ACA/ACCA with experience in a similar role. They will be flexible and adaptable to work and time, with a can do attitude with solid knowledge of Excel.
