Accounts Assistant
Job Description
We are working with our innovative retail sustainable brand company in their search for a part time Accounts Assistant to join their small but perfectly formed team in this newly created position. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in the day to day accounts function. This role is based in a rural location just c15 mins drive from Banbury and is offered on a part time basis, circa 22.5 hours per week with flexibility around how’s these are worked, could suit school hours.
You will be responsible for:
- Accounts administration using Xero
- Amazon Sellar Central
- Credit control
- Reconciliation of bank, PayPal, Amazon, Unleashed, Sage Pay and credit card accounts
- Dealing with email and phone enquiries
- Data entry and general administration duties
Experience, skills, and attributes required for the Accounts Assistant
- Experience with Xero software
- AAT level 1, studying towards level 2 (but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive, organised and accurate
- Knowledge of Xero, although training can be given
- Excellent MS Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel
- Personable, friendly team member who is a good communicator
- Due to location, you will need to drive
