Accounts Administration Assistant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established and professional insurance firm within the Nelson area on a twelve month maternity cover post with the possibility of it becoming permanent.

Offering a competitive salary of between £26,000and £19,000 with free parking on site and hours of Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m till 5.00 p.m.

The role:

Offering a high level of support and assistance to the Finance Manager, you will be helping to produce monthly management accounts, reconcile cash, bank and post journal. You will be required to prepare asset schedules, prepayments, accruals and accounts up to trial balance stage.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate must have excellent excel skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You must be computer literate with strong organizational skills and an ability to be flexible in your approach as the duties can vary and change. A professional and dedicated manner at all times, with a bubbly and positive attitude.

Due to the location your own transport would be beneficial. Background experience within a Insurance broker environment would be beneficial but not essential.
