Due to growth and expansion, the company is looking to recruit a bright, enthusiastic and hard-working Accounts & Admin Assistant to join their head office in the S74 area of Barnsley on a full-time and permanent basis.
The Role:
– Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Nominal Ledger entries
– Payments to suppliers: cheques, Direct Debits, BACS, CHAPS via Internet Banking
– Promotional Allowance claims from Manufacturer administration
– Reconciliations of all ledgers and bank accounts
– Assisting with general office admin and customer service / marketing campaigns
– Any other duties requested by MD/Finance Manager
Person Specification:
– One year’s accounts/finance experience is necessary
– Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel
– Excellent numerical skills
– Organised and methodical approach to record keeping and reporting
– Detail orientated
– Trustworthy and confidential when handling confidential financial information
– Able to work to targets and deadlines.
