Accounting Technician

A local authority are looking for an experience administrator, who has excellent customer service skills. AAT qualified and good finance experience are essential.

The Ideal candidate should have experience of Orcale or other billing systems, also experience of reconcilaiton and other accounting would be recommended.

To work with the Directorate and SCH to agree and deliver the key financial priorities for the services over the medium term.

To ensure the financial resources available to the Directorate are effectively used and managed to secure the delivery of the Directorate Performance Plan, HRA Business Plan and SCH Business Plan.

To play a key role in the delivery of corporate financial requirements throughout the financial cycle – budget setting, forecasting and final accounts.

To effectively support the Councils Section 151 Officer through the provision of high quality financial advice to Members, the Directorate Leadership, Corporate Leadership Teams, SCH Executive Management Team (EMT) and budget managers.

To support the Finance Manager in the development of the Divisions commercial activities
