College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £25,816 – £36,743 (a market supplement may apply subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)
Hours: Monday, Thursday & Friday 8:45 am – 5 pm
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Accounting Lecturer to deliver teaching and learning on our new and exciting Level 3 T Level in Accounting.
The accounting T level has been created with employability in mind and ACCA has worked with a group of cross-industry employers to shape the content to be relevant and robust. This has defined the skills and knowledge – both technical and soft – employers deem essential for their current and future capabilities. Designed in conjunction with leading businesses and employers, T levels are two-year courses that involve a mix of study and work experience. This will be a fantastic opportunity for students to potentially have future career opportunities
You will work closely with local employers and our Business Development team to engage students in meaningful work placement opportunities whilst completing their study programme. You will also have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with students to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College.
The successful candidate must have:
- A Teaching qualification at level 3
- A minimum of a level 3 Business / AAT qualification (Preferably a degree)
- Experience of T Level Accounting delivery or training
- Experience teaching in FE on BTEC programmes, although business industry would be ideal
- Previous, relevant FE teaching experience delivering on BTEC courses
- Relevant degree or equivalent industrial or professional qualification
- Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
