Accountancy Practice Assistant

As a growing accountancy practice based just outside Mold in North Wales, we are looking for a keen individual to join our team. We help small business with their accounting and taxation and as such are involved in book-keeping, VAT returns, annual accounts, personal tax returns, business tax returns, and payrolls.

We need someone to assist with annual accounts preparation, VAT returns, payroll and management accounts all of which require data entry, data analysis and performing reconciliations. We use Excel spreadsheets, Sage 50 Accounts, Xero and Sage payroll.

We would prefer someone who has previous experience of working in accountancy practice, and any candidate must be methodical, analytical and precise. We need someone who can work both individually, and as a team, they need to be able to work independently and use their own initiative, they will be expected to liaise directly with a variety of clients and so should display an element of confidence. Some level of Accountancy qualification (ACCA, AAT, CIMA etc) is preferred but not essential.
