Sellick Partnership have an urgent requirement for an accountancy Officer to join one of our key Manchester based clients.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working within a accounting team and will be immediately available for interview and appointment.
Key duties and responsibilities
– Monitoring the revenue budget for designated areas
– Production of financial reports and variance analysis
– Providing support to budget holders
– Monitoring of the petty cash accounts
– Preparation of the VAT returns
– Production of monthly bank reconciliation
– Carry out costing and financial analysis exercises as required
– Maintenance of the accounting records
– Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring of expenditure
Our client is keen to secure someone into this role on a 6 month basis – this could be extended beyond this period.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working within an accountancy function at this level and have the ability to hit the ground running
